Emergency Veterinary Services

24/7 Emergency Vet Services Jacksonville Beach, FL

No appointment is necessary, but if you are able to call ahead:

  • We can help determine the urgency of your pet’s condition and advise you if there are any actions to take at home prior to transporting the patient.
  • We recommend calling from a cellular phone so you can talk during the transport. Have a friend or family member drive if possible.
  • By law, only a licensed veterinarian can examine, diagnose and recommend treatment for your pet. NO veterinary treatment can be communicated by telephone.
  • Emergency pet care is provided on a triage (priority) basis with the most critically ill or injured animals seen first.
  • There is sometimes a waiting period, so bring reading material. Take heart though:  the wait time is typically less than half that of the human ER.
  • A thorough physical examination and consultation with the emergency vet is included in the office call. Following the exam, you will be advised on the best treatment options that veterinary medicine has to offer.
  • You will receive a written health care plan detailing any diagnostics or treatment recommendations. This healthcare plan will include an estimation of costs involved.
